Poll: Tories 35%, Bloc 34%, Libs 20% in Quebec

This might help us understand a little better why Prime Minister Harper wants to have an October election.

"Without money, organization and imposing candidates, Stéphane Dion's Liberal Party is headed straight for the slaughterhouse, according to several influential members," the paper reported.

The liberals chose a dud when they picked Dion, now they can't even get any support from the province that used to be their sole domain. I'd be interested to see what the rest of the provinces look like in terms of support for the parties.

Looking to the future, I see a Liberal convention shortly after the next election to reconsider their choice of leadership. His own party doesn't support him and his green shift plan, why should anyone else?
